Health priorities in the State Health Improvement Plan

Oregon’s state health improvement plan uses data from our State Health Profile to build a set of priority areas for improving the health of everyone in the state.

Previous work

Oregon's state health improvement plan, first released in 2013, was updated in 2014-15 to ensure the plan reflects the needs of partners and communities throughout the state. In 2014, the Oregon Health Authority's Public Health Division held community engagement sessions across Oregon. Revisions to the 2013 plan were based on feedback from these sessions, alignment with community health improvement plan priorities, and review of the most current data on the leading causes of death, disease and injury.
